This ground floor apartment is in a gated community set in spacious landscaped gardens with a number of swimming pools. The apartments have allocated undercover parking and there is further ample parking adjacent to all the apartments. There are both stairs and lifts from the parking level and as there are ramps at all entrances it would be very suitable accommodation for all generations. The front door opens into a generous hallway with the nicely equipped kitchen to the right - beyond the kitchen is a good sized laundry room. To the left there are double doors through to the spacious Lounge/Dining area, which is stylishly furnished with beautiful leather settees and a formal dining table and chairs. There is a Satellite TV and a DVD/CD/MP3 player. Patio doors lead out onto the Terrace that has open views of the pool, gardens and surrounding hillsides. Both of the very spacious bedrooms have twin beds and there are fitted wardrobes with plenty of storage space for your holiday clothes. The Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is a further Shower Bathroom. The apartment has full air-conditioning installed to ensure that you are as cool or warm as you wish.
WHERE ARE WE?
The property is in the popular Urbanisation of Calahonda, just a 30-minute drive from Malaga Airport along the main A7 (N340) Coastal Highway and right at the heart of the 'Costa del Golf'. Here at Calahonda you will find the 9 Hole La Siesta Golf Course and within a 20 minute drive there are some 20 other 9 & 18 Hole courses that are available for play all year round. Miraflores-Santa Maria- La Noria-La Cala-Mijas-Alhurin-Los Naranjos-La Quinta-Aloha-Rio Real-Marbella-Santa Clara-to name but a few. Opposite the Golf Club is the very popular Club del Sol offering tennis, squash, sauna and a well equipped gym. Many other sporting activities are catered for close by – including skiing!!
There is a mini-market and a few bars and restaurants within walking distance for the fit and active although Car Hire is recommended as this part of the coast is quite hilly. Just a short drive away is the El Zoco and Los Olivos Commercial centres where there are supermarkets, various shops, banks and a huge choice of Bars and Restaurants catering for all tastes.
The local beach is close to the El Zoco complex and there are many more fine sandy beaches within a short drive - especially the ‘Blue Flag’ beaches of La Cala. Nearby is the picturesque Marina of Cabopino where you can have a drink or meal whilst watching the yachts bob up and down plus the beaches either side of the marina are magnificent. For family fun days out there are a Zoo, Water Parks, Wild Life Parks and Marine Adventure Centres all very close
Calahonda is an ideal base for touring Southern Spain with Granada, Seville, Jerez, Cordoba and Gibraltar all within easy striking distance and just a 25-minute drive away is the wonderful 'White Village' of Mijas. Here there are superb coastal views, famous donkeys and many great restaurants to choose from plus in the square, every Wednesday lunch-time, is a Flamenco Show with complementary drinks.
This vacation apartment and complex is ideal for holiday makers who enjoy quality accommodation in a peaceful and un-crowded setting but then enjoy the bonus of being just minutes from the hustle and buzz of the holiday coast.
